Plain terms for lawn work performed on your property. No contract to sign for recurring mowing, and nothing sold through this website.
Lawn Advisor LLC, Florida limited liability company, document number L19000182601, FEI/EIN 84-2549896, filed July 16, 2019, status ACTIVE. Principal address 4568 Palmetto Cove Lane, Jacksonville, FL 32258. Manager: Matthew A. Pile. Phone (904) 419-7358. These terms apply to lawn maintenance and yard cleanup performed by this company in Duval County and northern St. Johns County, Florida.
Services only, performed in person on your property. Nothing is sold through this website. There is no cart, no checkout, no shipping and no online payment. The .shop extension in our domain is only an address; it does not mean products are offered. Work is arranged by telephone, performed on site, and invoiced afterward.
The rates published on our home page are the rates we quote and the rates that appear on the invoice. Recurring mowing is priced by mowed area, not deed acreage — if a retention pond or preserve line takes up part of your parcel, you pay for the part we actually cut. Overgrowth resets, hedge runs, pine straw and sod work are quoted after the property is walked, usually within two working days of your call. A quote given after a walk-through holds for 30 days.
Recurring mowing has no contract and no term. Give us a week's notice to come off the route and there is no cancellation fee and no argument about it. A one-off cleanup, hedge job or install may be cancelled at no cost up to 24 hours before the scheduled date; inside 24 hours, if the crew and materials are already committed, we may charge for materials already purchased.
Invoices are issued after the work is finished, never before. Payment by card over the phone, by Zelle, or on monthly statement terms for property management accounts. Invoices are due within 14 days. Accounts more than 30 days past due are taken off the route until they are cleared. We do not require deposits for recurring mowing; on large installs we may ask for the material cost up front and say so in the quote.
Lawn Advisor LLC does not apply fertilizer, herbicide, insecticide or fungicide. Commercial application in Florida requires a limited commercial landscape maintenance certification from FDACS, which this company does not hold. We also do not install or repair irrigation, remove trees, grind stumps, or perform landscape design or construction work. If your property needs any of that, we will say so and give you the name of a licensed contractor or applicator — we receive nothing for that referral and we do not pass your contact details along.
We carry general liability insurance and a certificate is available on request; two of the management accounts we service require one on file. If our equipment damages something — a sprinkler head clipped by a mower deck, a low-voltage light fixture, a screen — tell us within seven days and we repair or replace it. What we cannot be responsible for is pre-existing damage, irrigation heads set above grade or in the mow line, invisible pet fencing, cables buried at insufficient depth, or objects hidden in tall grass on a first cut of an overgrown lot. Turf health outcomes depend on watering, drainage, soil and treatment programs that are outside our control and, in the case of chemical treatment, outside what we are licensed to do.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Duval County, Florida.
